Union labor applies on the exhibit floor.
Like most large Las Vegas convention venues, Mandalay Bay operates under union jurisdiction for on-site labor. Installation and strike may be handled by venue labor per show rules — we coordinate with the labor rep so your timeline holds.
Breakout rooms and exhibit halls have different rules.
What’s permitted in a ballroom breakout isn’t always what’s permitted on the show floor. If your program spans both, tell us — we’ll quote each side correctly rather than assuming one rule covers everything.
The campus is long. Plan your timing.
It’s a genuinely long walk from the convention center to the far ballrooms, and freight routes are longer still. We build realistic travel time into delivery windows instead of promising a 15-minute turnaround between rooms.
Order power before you finalize layout.
Electrical comes from the venue’s exclusive provider and needs to be ordered separately. Tell us where the drop lands and we’ll place screens and cable runs around it.

Can I use an independent AV rental company at Mandalay Bay?
Equipment rental from an outside supplier is generally permitted, while services like electrical and rigging are venue exclusives. Send us your show name and room or booth number and we’ll confirm what applies to you specifically.
Can you cover both my booth and my breakout rooms?
Yes, and it’s common. We’ll quote exhibit-floor displays and breakout-room AV together so you get one point of contact and one invoice for the whole program.
Do you deliver to the South Convention Center?
Yes. We deliver throughout the Mandalay Bay convention campus, including the South Convention Center and the ballroom levels. Give us the room name and load-in window.
What’s your lead time for a Mandalay Bay event?
